Software engineer
Write the control software that runs our thermoforming lines, from HMI to machine logic, and see it work on the floor the same week.
About the job
Every Repak machine ships with software we wrote ourselves. You work on the control logic, the operator interface and the recipes that let a customer switch from one product to another without calling us.
Engineering sits twenty metres from production, so you test on a real machine instead of a simulation.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain PLC and HMI software for thermoforming machines and tray sealers
- Commission machines together with the assembly team before they ship
- Improve recipe handling so operators can change products without support
- Support colleagues in service when a machine in the field needs a software fix
What you bring
- HBO level in software, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable
- Experience with PLC programming, ideally Beckhoff or Siemens
- You like being on the shop floor as much as behind a screen
- Dutch or German at working level, English is a plus
